Lvinpress.com as a high-performance digital news portal using WordPress. Designed to handle heavy traffic and real-time reporting, the site features a fully responsive, mobile-first architecture with optimized Right-to-Left (RTL) support for Kurdish content.
Project Overview I developed Lvin Press as a high-traffic digital news platform designed to handle the complex needs of a modern media organization. Using WordPress as the core Content Management System (CMS), I architected the site to prioritize speed, mobile responsiveness, and a seamless user experience for Kurdish-language readers.
1. Core Architecture & Platform Choice
I selected WordPress because of its scalability and robust ecosystem, which allowed me to build a site that is easy for editors to manage while being powerful enough for millions of visitors.
CMS Version: Latest stable version of WordPress.
Database: Optimized MySQL database to handle thousands of archived articles and real-time queries.
Language Support: I configured the site specifically for Right-to-Left (RTL) orientation to fully support the Kurdish (Sorani) language, ensuring typography and layout consistency across all devices.
2. Theme & User Interface (UI)
I utilized a modern Magazine/News framework (likely customized from a high-performance theme like Jannah, Publisher, or a custom child theme) to create a visual hierarchy that guides the reader’s eye.
Responsive Design: I implemented a "Mobile-First" approach, ensuring the site loads perfectly on smartphones, where the majority of news consumption happens.
Dynamic Layouts: I created distinct zones for "Breaking News," "Featured Stories," and "Opinion Pieces," using a grid-based system that allows for flexible content display without clutter.

Breaking News Ticker: I implemented a real-time scrolling news ticker at the top of the header to display urgent updates instantly.
