Bloom & Vine: Next-Gen Floral E-Commerce

Bloom & Vine: Next-Gen Floral E-Commerce
The "Bloom & Vine" project involves the design and development of an advanced e-commerce platform dedicated to selling flowers online in the Kurdistan Region. The primary objective of this research is to digitalize the flower retail business, allowing customers to easily browse products, place orders, and make secure payments. This system resolves the issue of limited store operating hours, enabling the shop to serve customers 24/7.
Bilingual Support: The system dynamically supports both English (LTR) and Sorani Kurdish (RTL) to eliminate language barriers for local users.

Local and International Payment Systems: Integrated with the First Iraqi Bank (FIB) payment gateway via QR code scanning, alongside direct support for Visa and Mastercard.

Progressive Web App (PWA): The website can be installed as an application on mobile home screens, with essential parts remaining functional even during slow connections or offline mode.

Customizable Delivery Scheduling: During checkout, customers can select their preferred delivery date and time using a smart calendar.

Admin Panel: A comprehensive administration panel based on Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), allowing the delegation of authorities for managing products, orders, sales reports, and setting discounts.

Robust Security: Utilizes the Argon2ID algorithm for password hashing, prevents cyberattacks such as SQL Injection and CSRF, and includes Google OAuth for seamless login capabilities.

Technologies and Languages Used
This project relies on industry-standard web development technologies to ensure speed, stability, and security:

Backend: PHP (version 8.2) combined with robust service logic.

Database: MySQL (specifically InnoDB engine) featuring advanced database relationships spread across 12 tables.

Frontend: HTML5, CSS via the Tailwind CSS framework, and Vanilla JavaScript.

Project Importance and Impact
The Bloom & Vine project is not just a standard website; it is a successful and practical model for digitalizing the local market in the Kurdistan Region. This project demonstrates how to build an advanced Business-to-Consumer (B2C) e-commerce solution that is both technically sophisticated and culturally and linguistically adapted to the local market.
